A little about me…..
I am a presbyterian minister, but have started the journey to return home to the church of my childhood, the Episcopal Church. I’m the journey of discernment will make it into these pages every now and again. As I navigate this journey, I am working in development for non-profits. Currently, a non-profit that does child sponsorship in Haiti and Uganda called World of God. I’m also helping a good friend of mine set-up his own non-profit called 100 Love Notes Foundation. They are both part-time and I love the flexibility of that, especially as I enter this new role of wife.
I have been a Lupus Thriver since I was twelve years old. I have lived my life to the fullest because I know one day I may not be able to do all I want. It is starting to catch-up to me a bit and find I’m a little slower these days than I once was. I also had some cancer cells on my cervix last year. Luckily, nothing has return.
I am very active in my community serving on several boards and volunteering with children when I can. I love to be crafty and hoping now that I’m working part-time, I can work more on sewing and painting. My favorite thing in the world to do is host parties for my friends. I hold the best tailgates in the SEC. My annual spring crawfish boil is becoming pretty famous.
About him....
He's a commercial real estate broker, who was a true bachelor before we meet (did not own a pot or frying pan). He loves wine, Ole Miss Football, and Music. He recently joined the board of a local after school program, Wings for Kids. He loves his family and is probably the most loyal person I know.
